Kate Ogley

Kate Ogley's 15 minute film Scallop Cutters depicts a series of scenes from inside the scallop cutting plant on Falmouth Wharf where she has a studio. She was drawn to the repetitive, ritualistic movements and percussive sound of the cutting and intrigued by the people who work hard and tirelessly, subject to the vagaries of the weather.
