A drawing a day for 365 days, here’s mine from last night. I only did the one yesterday. Still trying to reflect how I feel and not how I look. It’s a drawing in conte (like compressed chalk) on paper. I think Dead Eyes sums it up really. Still feeling, well you know, dead behind the eyes. But I still can’t stop looking, trying to see whether the way I feel can actually be seen. I don’t think the drawings show enough pain for that.

Last night’s effort. Well, what remains of it. The scissors got to it this morning. Good job too. I can’t stand running out of materials half way through a drawing *humph*. Trip to the art shop today then for me.

These are drawings I did last night, well, the early hours of this morning. I look at myself wondering who the hell I am. I don’t know, I just know that I don’t like what I see.

I plan to participate in an online drawing project to make a drawing a day for 365 days. Well, if I can. Motivation ebbs and flows. As does sanity. These are the drawings I made last night (6 self-portraits), when I was a bit ‘out of it’ to say the least. For once I feel relatively non-judgemental about them. They just ‘are’. Who cares, they’re just marks on paper.
