I am on a mission. I have to complete a small patchwork cot/pram quilt by Easter. Does anyone know exactly when Easter is, only I feel it’s probably not that far away since there are already Easter eggs on the shelves in Tesco.
Appropriately I decided to have a go at the traditional Tumbling Blocks patchwork quilt, for a baby that is currently growing away in it’s mummy’s tummy. I don’t know exactly when the child is due to exit the warmth of the womb and come screaming into this world (“Easter” is all I know), but I thought it would be nice if it had a cosy blanket waiting for it. I understand the soon-to-be-young-mum is very excited about the impending sleepless nights and on-tap feeding, but it leaves me feeling slightly bewildered because it means my younger sister is a soon-to-be-old-granny!
