Vintage silk and lace
Materials gathered:
- Vintage cream silk – was once an extra large men’s shirt. Cost 10p at a jumble sale!
- Several metres of vintage cotton lace. Bought 25 years ago at Liberty’s (ooh, check out the latest Grayson Perry fabric!). I can’t remember how much the lace was, my memory’s not that good!
- Vintage shell buttons
- Thread
- 1.5m cotton mull
- A-line dress pattern, ready for cutting up and playing about with
- And for inspiration maybe a bit Odd Molly, maybe a bit Noa Noa…who knoas!
