not some slinky ‘babe’ with her bits hanging out. It’s not even Mr Depp. Or Mr Pitt. Nope, it’s a bit of colourful Moda fabric all made into a knitting needle roll. How visually splendid is that then?! I knew you’d agree. This is one of a couple I have on the go, destined, at some point, to arrive at Art House 2 in Hampshire. Might just have to keep it around to look at for a bit longer though. And get my knitting needles back out. There is a black lacy scarf with my name on it. Well, actually, as you know, it’s got someone else’s name on it…

Very pretty – delicious colours and fabrics
wow – love the embroidery! I made some similar for crochet hooks (http://bearpawandbearpaw.blogspot.com/2009/12/handmade-christmas-part-3.html) and coloured pencils (http://bearpawandbearpaw.blogspot.com/2010/01/handmade-labels-and-missing-photos.html) for xmas presents. But I like yours better – bit more detail with the flap and the stitching.
Hi Jo, I couldn’t get these links to work, but I headed over and found them through the archive. Your roll is really lovely, a lot more patchwork involved than mine, really loved the colour combinations you created.
I love it!! gorgeous gorgeous fabric!!
