Hi, my name is Stephanie (aka Stephie!) and this is my journal about being creative and where that takes me. I live with my young son, Kim, in a beautiful part of the world in Cornwall in the UK, where I’m close to rugged coastline, quaint fishing villages and small patchwork fields that fill me with inspiration whenever I leave the house.
Officially I call myself an artist, but I just love making things and explore my creativity through art, writing, gardening and crafts. I’ve always got something on the go whether it’s a quilt to snuggle up under, gifts for friends and family, an installation for an exhibition or trying something new like knitting, which I took up recently.
I’m so pleased you dropped by and would love it if you’d stay a while; we could share some stitching, quilting, writing, drawing, laughter, ranting, and of course, chocolate cake! Ha, ha – that’s quite a journey! I lived in Penryn for 12 years and my closest friend was brought up in and still lives in/around Guildford – ’tis a small world indeed!
