Well hello!
I’m so glad you’ve dropped by: I love meeting new people and I guess you’ve come to this page because you want to know more about me without having to go through all those blog posts! Don’t blame you. These things are always difficult to write though. I mean, I could give you a cv, but they’re boring; I could give you a list of likes and dislikes, but they’ll probably change by morning; and how do I get the balance right between describing myself as a hyperactive-can-never-sit-still-for-five-minutes kinda gal to the miserable old bag that often lurks about these pages? Like I said, it’s difficult.
I’ve been writing this blog for a number of years now and I still find it hard to pin down where I fit in. Maybe I don’t, but I’m happy with that! I can tell you that I make things, usually art or textiley things like quilts. And sometimes the odd cake. Oh and I do some digging (in my garden and on my allotment). And I run. Preferably off the beaten track. I tie it all together with writing, weaving words in to my art and textiles, as well as around these ephemeral pages. I can be lighthearted and optimistic, intense and possibly too honest, but whatever I do, I hope I manage to do it with a large dose of creativity.
